This week I dedicated my time to mostly learning the ins and outs of the “audio fx soundboard” and the “VS1053B audio codec” board. There was no guide for the audio fx sound board so I had to go on YouTube. I was able to find a video that would describe how to set up the board to produce sounds. However it did not teach me how to upload files onto the soundboard so i had to check a separate tutorial to find out how to do that. After all of this, I was finally able to make a working soundboard but I still wanted to use the VS1053B and learn how to use that. Luckily, there was an existing tutorial on adfruit that I could follow directly. I set up the VS1053B finally and am starting to learn how to record audio on it.
